Overview

As a System Architecture professional in Thales Alenia Space, you will define and validate architectures for propulsion-related solutions, aligning with stakeholder needs and the tech roadmap. You will influence design choices through trade-offs, while coordinating with cross-functional teams and customers. Your work enables robust, co-engineered space propulsion concepts that meet performance, cost, and schedule targets. This is a high-impact role at an international leader shaping next-generation space systems.

Responsabilità

- Define and recommend candidate architectures to meet stakeholder expectations and policy constraints
- Establish and justify solution architectures, documenting trade-offs and artefacts
- Assist in solution development and define co-engineering approaches
- Manage level requirements, interfaces, and performance evaluation across the project lifecycle




- Perform technical negotiations among stakeholders and approve lower-level specifications
- Document design artefacts and support integration, verification, and qualification activities

Requisiti fondamentali

- Significant experience in architecture and engineering systems
- Leadership experience and ability to develop a team
- Customer-facing experience and strong communication skills
- Familiarity with co-engineering approaches and Lean Thinking
- Understanding of MBSE and modelling tools for system engineering
- Experience with Integration, Verification, Validation, and Agile methods
