Overview
In this role you will support raw materials purchasing within Leather Goods Operations, aligning material needs with demand planning, production scheduling, and quality controls. You will coordinate with multiple internal teams to translate demand inputs into actionable procurement targets and monitor material obsolescence in collaboration with Finance. You will contribute to IT/BI tool development and drive improvement initiatives, while managing supplier orders and delivery schedules in a global luxury brand setting.

Responsabilità
- Analyze material requirements using MRP monitoring and forecasting analyses
- Engage with demand planning, merchandising, and production planning functions
- Collaborate with planning office to meet finished product delivery goals
- Assess finished product demand across priorities and order flows
- Translate demand inputs into purchasing targets and visibility for procurement
- Monitor and mitigate material obsolescence with Finance
- Coordinate information sharing with materials research, testing, intermediate stages, and QA teams
- Coordinate quality control planning activities with the Quality department
- Perform quantitative analyses to support the Purchasing Manager
- Support development and monitoring of IT/BI tools for purchasing in collaboration with IT and BI
- Participate in or lead improvement projects
- Manage raw material orders and work orders
- Follow up with suppliers and schedule on-time deliveries
Requisiti fondamentali
- 2-3 years of experience in roles related to planning/purchasing/demand planning
- Engineering, Economics, or Statistics background
- Strong problem solving and quantitative analysis skills
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Experience with Stealth, PLM, and Qlik is a plus
- Proficient in English
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; team player
- Willingness to travel to supplier sites
