K-Way - Junior Developer
We are looking for a junior developer to join the Samples K-Way team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of K-Way collections, working closely with the Design, Product Management and Production teams to ensure products are developed in line with the brand's identity, quality standards and seasonal timelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or an equivalent qualification from a recognized fashion institute.
- 1- 2 years of experience in a Product Development, Apparel Development or similar role within the fashion, sportswear or outerwear industry.
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as Microsoft Office.
- Solid understanding of garment construction, pattern making, textile materials and apparel manufacturing processes.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive mindset, adaptability and a results-driven approach.
- Manage the development of products from concept through to sample realization, collaborating closely with the Design team.
- Conduct market and trend research, analyzing fabrics, colors,
materials and product innovations to support seasonal collection development.
- Create technical sketches, vector flat drawings and detailed technical packs with all specifications required for prototyping and production.
- Prepare, maintain and update technical documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), material specifications and construction details.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturing partners throughout the product development process, ensuring quality standards and development timelines are met.
- Coordinate sample development, monitor progress and participate in fitting sessions, collecting feedback and implementing product improvements.
- Organize and maintain technical archives, material libraries, color standards and development documentation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure the collection development calendar and project milestones are achieved.
This role comes with an annual gross salary of around €25.000, plus a range of company benefits.
