As an Electrical Protection Engineer, you will be part of our Smart Infrastructure – Electrification and Automation team in Milan, contributing to the development, testing, and commissioning of energy automation systems for medium- and high-voltage electrical substations and power plants.
Your day-to-day activities will include protection relay configuration,
testing and commissioning activities, fault analysis, and close collaboration with engineering teams to deliver innovative and reliable energy automation solutions.
Performing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) of electrical automation systems.
Supporting and executing Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) during commissioning activities.
Collaborating with the engineering team to develop innovative and smart solutions for energy automation systems.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
At least 3-5 years of experience in protection engineering or substation automation.
Availability for business travel for site activities and commissioning.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Continuous learning mindset and passion for professional growth.
Proficiency in Italian and English.
Experience with IEC 61850 and digital protection systems.
Experience working with TSO or DSO organizations
