Eurointerim S.p.A. – on behalf of an international company operating in the sporting goods industry, is looking for an experienced professional to join its manufacturing site in Veneto, Italy as:
HEAD OF MANUFACTURING
The Role: The Head of Manufacturing will lead Production, Production Planning, Tooling, Quality Management and Industrial Engineering, with responsibility for manufacturing performance, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
The role operates within an international matrix organization and works closely with R&D;, Product Development, Engineering and Supply Chain, supporting new product industrialization and launches.
The manufacturing environment is highly diversified and complex, with multiple product variants, colours, sizes and configurations. Production is carried out internally at the Italian site and combines industrial and automated processes with manual, semi-manual and craftsmanship-intensive operations. Production runs both during daytime hours and across three shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- lead and develop the manufacturing organization and multidisciplinary production teams;
- manage and improve complex in-house manufacturing processes, including manual and semi-manual activities;
- oversee production planning, capacity, scheduling, workload balancing and production priorities;
- manage a high-mix production environment with significant product variability;
- improve productivity, efficiency, quality, costs and delivery performance;
- support R&D; and Engineering in new product industrialization and design for manufacturability;
- drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives;
- monitor operational KPIs and prepare analyses and presentations for local and international management.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or a related technical discipline;
- solid experience in manufacturing and operations leadership roles;
- strong knowledge of production processes and Producti
