A Snapshot of Your Day
As the EHS Lead for Europe & Africa region, you will be responsible for leading the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) function across the region, driving the implementation of the EHS strategy, strengthening a Zero Harm culture, and ensuring consistent EHS governance, compliance, and performance across all Grid Technologies Service operations, projects, and field service activities. You will partner closely with regional leadership, operational teams, and country stakeholders to enhance safety performance, manage risk, and support sustainable business growth.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Define and execute the EHS strategy and roadmap for Grid Technologies Service across Europe & Africa, aligning with regional and global business objectives.
- Lead and support subregional EHS teams, serving as the key advisor to leadership and ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy standards and legal requirements.
- Promote a strong safety‑first culture through visible leadership, coaching, field engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive EHS performance management, including incident investigations, risk reviews, audits, reporting, and corrective action implementation.
- Integrate EHS into project execution, field service operations, contractor management, and business growth activities across the region.
- Foster collaboration, best‑practice sharing, and innovation by leveraging digital EHS solutions, data analytics, and partnerships with Quality, Training, and Operational Excellence teams.
What You Bring
- Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
- Significant leadership experience in EHS within energy, industrial, construction, project, or field service environments.
- Proven experience, at least 7/8 years, leading EHS programs across multiple countries and cu
