Role description:
As a Contract & Cost Manageryou will be responsible for delivering high-value and high-quality contract management services for Data Center projects.
You will work closely with both clients and internal teams, ensuring that all contractual and administrative activities meet the required quality standards and the specific needs of each project. By proactively managing building contracts, you will provide expert advice on commercial, risk, and compliance matters, supporting the project’s success from inception through to closeout.
The role requires strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills,
as well as a regular on-site presence to review progress and quality with contractors and other project stakeholders.
Role accountabilities:
- Management of the entirety of the Building Contracts.
- Visit the site regularlyto review progress and quality with the Contractor and other contractors undertaking the project.
- Provide contractual support and advice on potential change orders, cost impacts, risks, utility requirements etc
- Advise on Client liability regarding any claims from the Contractor (preliminary advice only).
- Discuss the adjusted contract sum (final account) with the Contractor. Agree with client the authorisation to the adjusted contract sum.
- Manage and track the closeout of claims in collaboration with the project team. Analyse and report on the Contractor’s losses and expenses claims.
