We are currently seeking a Controls Development Engineer to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy
The Controls Development Engineer will be responsible for working along the entire Embedded PLC Software Life-cycle, which is used to control complex thermal engineering machinery for Application SW complex projects. Translating software and hardware requirements into concise and robust programming code and document it, working as team player with other Controls Engineers to deliver working software releases.
Providing solid configuration management to each part of the project and act according to release plans. Providing support to all areas of the company that requires it, such as Sales, Offering, System Engineering, Procurement, Operation and Service.
What kind of work will you be doing?
Development Of New Software
- Translate high level application requirements into Software Specifications, producing the related deliverables (documentation, Scope of Operations, test plans).
- Design, develop and implement PLC programs and applications that respond to given requirements.
- Perform prototyping, application tests and code reviews to ensure product quality.
- Validate the released software attending tests in Lab and in the field, reporting bugs and proposing possible improvements
- Deliver training and product handover to relevant stakeholders – Academy, Application Engineering and Service
