IT Desktop Support Engineer
Location: Concordia sulla Secchia, Modena, Italy
Contract: 1 Year – Extendable
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Work Mode: Onsite
Start Date: ASAP – Immediate Joiners Preferred
Contract Type: B2B
Compensation: €3,000 per month, all-inclusive
Important: This is an all-inclusive B2B contract. No additional benefits will be provided. The contractor will be responsible for their own taxes, insurance, travel/accommodation costs, and any other applicable expenses or obligations.
Languages: English and Italian – Mandatory
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 onsite and remote support for hardware, software, operating systems, and connectivity issues.
- Manage Windows endpoints, including device provisioning, imaging, patching, and lifecycle management.
- Administer Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID for device and identity management.
- Support Microsoft 365, Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and endpoint connectivity issues.
- Implement and maintain endpoint security, compliance, encryption, and protection policies.
- Use PowerShell scripting and automation to improve EUC operations.
- Maintain asset inventory, technical documentation, SOPs,
and knowledge base articles.
- Support device rollouts, OS upgrades, Intune migrations, and other EUC projects.
- Manage multiple incidents and service requests while maintaining an excellent end-user experience.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in EUC, Desktop Engineering, Endpoint Management, or Systems Administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience with Windows, Autopilot, Microsoft 365, endpoint security, and device lifecycle management.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Fluent Italian and English language proficiency is mandatory.
- Ability to work independently in an onsite enterprise environment.
