Overview As Principal Electrical Engineer, you lead electrical discipline delivery on turnkey projects in chemical, petrochemical and energy segments, across multiple offices. You mentor engineers, steer technical work, and ensure safe, compliant design while aligning with project goals. You will work closely with project managers and the Electrical Department to shape solutions for mega-projects and complex plants. Responsabilità
Lead and coordinate a multi-office electrical team on complex projects Ensure delivery of technically accurate electrical engineering documents Manage cost, schedule,
material quantities and changes Perform and review electrical design calculations and equipment sizing Develop scope of work, supplier data sheets, and bid evaluations Support safety, quality and cross-discipline communications Coach junior engineers and contribute to people development Contribute to RFP responses with scope, assumptions and man-hour estimates
Requisiti fondamentali
Master Degree in Electrical Engineering 10–15 years of engineering experience in chemical/petrochemical/energy sectors Fluent English and Italian (written and spoken) Proven track record leading large, distributed electrical teams on mega-projects Experience in conceptual, FEED and EPC/EPCm environments Knowledge of IEC, ANSI, IEEE, CEI EN standards strong leadership excellent communication skills proactive and well-organized ETAP SKM Caneco
