Overview As a Senior Enterprise Security Architect at Akamai, you’ll drive adoption of our Enterprise Security portfolio (Akamai Workforce Protector, LayerX) in large, complex customers. You will lead PoCs, beta programs, and pre-sales, translating security capabilities into measurable value. You’ll guide customers toward identity-centric, zero-trust architectures while aligning with partner teams and product roadmaps. This role blends hands-on configuration, architecture discovery, and cross-functional evangelism to enable secure, agile deployments.

Own and run proof-of-concepts, beta programs, and pre-sales activities with customers and partners Perform enterprise architecture discovery and hands-on software configuration Guide customers toward agile, secure,
identity-centric security models Take a consultative approach to solve security transformation challenges Educate and enable internal teams and partners on Enterprise solution portfolios to support sales Influence product roadmaps to reflect customer business priorities and requirements
Requisiti fondamentali
Experience in large, complex, customer-facing environments with responsibility for the technical sales cycle Ability to present complex technical material to diverse audiences, both virtually and in-person Knowledge of network security, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, endpoint protection, firewalls, and related cybersecurity concepts Expertise with Zero Trust concepts and technologies (Network Security, SASE/SSE, ZTNA, Microsegmentation) Understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and cloud-native technologies (Microservices, Kubernetes) Fluency in Italian and English strong communication and presentation skills consultative mindset customer-focused collaboration Zero Trust architectures SASE/SSE and ZTNA Microsegmentation
