Responsabilità
Collaborate in a cross-functional team with frontend, product, design, and QA to deliver seamless experiences Participate in product planning from discovery to deployment across the SDLC Develop and enhance features, APIs, and continuously improve products Identify, debug, and fix issues to maintain high quality (“Deel Speed”) Ensure customer-focused, high-quality engineering and reliable services Build secure,
scalable APIs with input validation and JWT-based authentication, considering queue-based architectures
Requisiti fondamentali
8+ years of software engineering experience Backend development expertise with Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript; knowledge of at least one other server-side language PostgreSQL proficiency including query optimization, migrations, and data modeling Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns Experience designing scalable systems and handling high transaction volumes API development experience including security aspects like JWT and scalability considerations Remote collaboration experience in distributed teams Business-focused approach to delivering high-value software Excellent communication of complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders Genuine care for customers and a proactive, optimistic problem-solver attitude Remote-first collaboration and proactive communication Autonomy with strong ownership Clear and effective writer/speaker of technical concepts Node.js TypeScript/JavaScript PostgreSQL
