Working at Parker means belonging to a passionate, dynamic and innovative team, empowered to make a difference. /p h3Your day-to-day /h3 ul liSupport the design and development of hydraulic rotary actuators, housings, shafts, seals, bearings, stops, and related mechanical components. /li liCreate and revise 3D models, 2D drawings, and engineering documentation in accordance with applicable standards and internal procedures. /li liPrepare and maintain bill of materials, engineering change orders, specifications, and release packages. /li liAssist in performing design calculations for torque, pressure containment, stress, fatigue, deflection, sealing, and tolerance stack-up. /li liParticipate in design reviews, risk assessments, and design verification activities. /li liSupport prototype build, test planning, data collection, and test result analysis for product validation and performance characterisation. /li liInvestigate product or process issues using structured root cause and corrective action methods. /li liCollaborate with manufacturing engineering to improve design for manufacturability, assembly, serviceability,
and cost. /li liWork with suppliers and internal teams to support component selection, material evaluation, and technical issue resolution. /li liSupport compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and customer‑specific requirements. /li liContribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on product reliability, lead time, quality, and cost reduction. /li liCommunicate technical information clearly to cross‑functional stakeholders and, when required, to customers. /li /ul h3Who We Are Looking For /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent is a plus. /li li0–5 years of engineering experience, including internships, co‑ops, or entry‑level product design experience. /li liFoundational knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, tolerancing, and manufacturing processes. /li liBasic understanding of fluid power or hydraulic systems. /li liExperience with 3D CAD modelling and engineering drawings – Ideally Inventor. /li liAbility to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and test data. /li liStrong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
