REBELL

ppbWhat if you could define how millions of Europeans use everyday services inside a single (Super)App? /b /p pRebell is building something Europe has never had before: a Super App. /p pA single place where people can shop, pay, book, connect, and manage their daily lives, without switching between dozens of apps. /p pInspired by Asian Super Apps like Alipay and WeChat, Rebell is designed for Europe. We are a licensed Electronic Money Institution (EMI), funded (+30M CHF), with senior leaders from Alipay, Satispay, Scalapay, Qonto, and Glovo, preparing for our first market launch in Q1 2027. /p pThe Payments pillar is the backbone of Rebell. /p pWe are now hiring a bSenior Data Analyst – Financial Payments Control /b to help us design and scale the control framework behind it. /p pYou will not just analyze data. You will design the systems that make financial data reliable. /p h3The Role /h3 pAntonio, Director of Payments, is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to own and strengthen Rebell’s financial control architecture. /p pYou will operate across: /p ul liMultiple MiniApp generated financial flows /li liWallet transactions /li liCard and SEPA rails /li liSafeguarded funds /li liInternal ledger /li liExternal ERP /li liCompliance and regulatory reporting outputs /li /ul pYour job is to make complexity reliable. /p pAs we scale, this function is expected to grow, including structured ownership of reporting exports, data cleansing processes, and regulatory grade data governance. /p pThis is a foundational role: you will build the first version of Rebell’s financial control and reconciliation framework, creating the baseline that will scale with the company. /p h3As a Senior Data Analyst – Payments, Reconciliation Financial Control, you will: /h3 ul liDesign reconciliation frameworks across ledger, banks, acquirers, safeguarded accounts, and ERP. /li liEnsure daily financial integrity across all MiniApp flows. /li liTurn inconsistencies into scalable control mechanisms.

/li liTranslate operational complexity into structured, repeatable systems. /li liAutomate controls using SQL and Python, progressively reducing manual checks. /li liBuild structured monitoring systems (control logic, exception tracking, automated alerts). /li liCollaborate with Payments, Finance, Operations, Compliance and Engineering to ensure cross system coherence. /li liReconcile compliance and regulatory reporting datasets with operational and ledger data. /li liValidate invoices and scheme costs, identifying pricing anomalies. /li liIdentify recurring performance issues on card acquiring rails (e.g., soft declines, latency spikes, routing or provider specific drops) and drive data backed improvement loops with Payments and Engineering, including before and after measurement and ongoing tracking. /li liMonitor SLA performance of providers (approval rates, settlement timing, latency, file accuracy). /li /ul h3Success in this role looks like /h3 ul liFinancial breaks are detected early and resolved systematically. /li liLedger, banks, and ERP are consistently aligned. /li liCompliance exports are reliable, traceable, and reconcilable. /li liProvider performance is measurable and transparent. /li liCard acquiring performance improves over time because issues are detected, explained with data, fixed with clear actions, and tracked with measurable outcomes. /li liManual reconciliations are progressively replaced by automated controls. /li liNew MiniApps can launch without creating financial chaos. /li liWhen complexity increases,

control scales with it. /li /ul h3How we work at Rebell /h3 ul liWe prefer bclear rules and good systems /b to meetings and approvals. /li liWe believe in b“better forgiveness than permission” /b, as long as decisions are well-reasoned. /li liWe think complexity should be engineered, not manually managed. /li liWe want an ultimatelyb lean organization /b. We believe that large teams create complexity hinder innovation and adaptation. /li liWe simplify things agressively and bautomate whatever we can /b. /li liWe hire for battitude /b; skills you can learn from the team. /li liWe value bcontribution /b, not seniority. /li /ul pWe’re an international team (10+ nationalities). English is the working language. /p pWe value people who think independently and communicate clearly. /p h3About you /h3 ul li5+ years of experience in payments, fintech, banking, acquiring, or financial operations. /li liAdvanced proficiency in SQL, working knowledge of Python (or similar) for automation. /li liExperience working on embedded products, platform layers, SDKs, APIs, or partner-facing tools. /li liUnderstanding of settlement logic and reconciliation principles (can deepen on the job). /li liComfortable operating in regulated or high complexity environments. /li liExperience working with multiple financial systems (ledger, banks, ERP, processors). /li liStructured thinker who enjoys finding inconsistencies. /li liEntrepreneurial mindset: ownership, pragmatism, speed, and impact over process. /li liYou are uncomfortable with “this can’t be done” as a final answer. /li /ul pOur office is located in Milan (Centrale). The standard contract includes 3 days of remote work per week. /p pThe min salary range for this role is + €55,000 gross per year, bdepending on experience /b. We also offer performance-based upside and the opportunity to grow into a broader ownership role as the company scales. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
