Overview
As Subsea Engineer at Hill International, you will shape subsea production solutions for an oil & gas project in Milano. You will ensure interfaces, design integrity, and operability of subsea systems, working with contractors to meet standards and project objectives. You’ll contribute to installation planning, manuals, and procedures while upholding company best practices.
This role offers impact across the project lifecycle and collaboration with cross-functional teams to protect client interests.
Responsabilità
- Ensure technical interfaces with other project systems are considered by the Contractor at all times
- Safeguard overall performance, installability, and operability of subsea systems
- Assist preparation of user manuals and installation procedures and support installation campaign
- Ensure design meets project requirements, standards, and best practices
- Oversee subsea component delivery aligned with project objectives and interfaces
- Assist SPS Lead/Package Manager with detailed engineering follow-up for subsea production tree systems, tie-ins, ROV tools, and subsea structures
- Review and comment on contractor documentation (reports, specs, procedures, drawings) to ensure compliance with procedures, codes, standards, and specs
- Resolve technical queries on subsea equipment and monitor progress to SPS Lead
- Ensure proper management of internal and external interfaces by Contractor
- Witness SUI, FAT, SIT, EFAT
Requisiti fondamentali
- Engineering Degree
- At least 7 years of engineering experience in Oil & Gas Industry
- At least 5 years subsea engineering experience
- At least 2 similar activities (subsea EPC project follow up)
- Excellent spoken and written English and proven ability to write specifications and reports
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to interface with Contractors and cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Subsea production tree systems, subsea tie-ins, ROV tools, subsea structures
- Design review and verification against codes, standards and best practices
- Knowledge of SPS lead/package management processes and installation campaigns
