Overview
In this role you will lead EHS programs for the EMA field operations, driving risk reduction and compliance across regional operations. You will serve as the technical EHS expert, aligning field practices with global policy and ISO-based standards. You’ll partner with regulators, customers, and EHS professionals to implement strategic plans, improve incident prevention, and ensure consistent EHS performance. This position offers a hands-on chance to shape safety and environmental outcomes in a global industrial context.
Responsabilità
- Direct and manage EHS programs and systems with global scope and EMA focus
- Deploy Elliott EHS policy across the responsibility area
- Develop and implement EHS strategic plans and ISO-compliant procedures
- Interface with regulators and external EHS counsel
- Manage third-party certification, audits, and customer qualifications
- Provide leadership and guidance to contracted EHS professionals in Field Service
- Collaborate with EHS colleagues to standardize processes and share best practices
- Oversee incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and trend identification to drive prevention
- Analyze EHS data to identify trends and implement Elliott-specific programs
- Review audits and emergency response exercises within the area
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor of Science in Environmental and/or Health and Safety Science or related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
- 5-7+ years of applicable industrial or petrochemical experience
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of EHS regulatory framework (EMA region) and EHS management systems
- Fluent in English
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, databases, internet-based systems)
- RSPP (In Italy) and NEBOSH IGC qualification
- Experience with EHS management systems (ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001) desired
- ASP, CSP, or CHMM or equivalent certification desired
- Experience in benzene/hydrocarbon exposure environments, confined space, working at height & lifting activities preferred
- First Aid Certificate highly preferred
- Strong leadership and collaboration
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Interpersonal skills across levels and with external partners
- EHS management systems (ISO 14001/45001)
- Incident investigation and root-cause analysis
- Regulatory liaison with EMA authorities
