pstrong What we are looking for? /strong /ppA fast-growing strongItalian startup /strong is looking for an experienced strongAI Engineer – Full Stack /strong to join its team and contribute to the design and development of next-generation AI-powered products. /ppbr / /ppThis role is ideal for someone who is comfortable building end-to-end Generative AI systems, from data ingestion and knowledge retrieval to production deployment, while collaborating effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment. /ppbr / /ppstrong Key Responsibilities /strong /pulliDesign, develop, and maintain LLM-based Generative AI pipelines, ensuring high response quality, reliability, and low latency. /liliBuild and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, including chunking strategies, embeddings, vector search, semantic retrieval, and re-ranking. /liliDesign and implement Graph RAG architectures leveraging knowledge graphs and semantic relationships to improve reasoning and traceability. /liliDevelop AI Agents and orchestrated workflows using function calling, tool usage, and multi-step reasoning. /liliIntegrate leading commercial and open-source LLMs (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Llama, Mistral), evaluating performance, quality, and cost trade-offs. /liliDesign and develop scalable REST APIs and backend services exposing AI capabilities to frontend applications and third-party integrations. /liliWork with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, pgvector) and graph databases (Neo4j) to support knowledge management and intelligent retrieval. /liliCollaborate with frontend engineers to deliver conversational interfaces and AI-powered user experiences. /liliOptimize AI applications for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency using cloud-native architectures on AWS or GCP. /liliImplement security best practices, authentication mechanisms, and prompt injection mitigation techniques. /liliMonitor and evaluate AI systems using model evaluation frameworks, RAG quality metrics,
and LLM evaluation methodologies. /liliTroubleshoot and improve the entire AI lifecycle, from data ingestion through production deployment. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrong Requirements /strong /pulli5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with significant exposure to Generative AI technologies. /liliStrong experience developing applications with Python (FastAPI) and/or Node.js (Express or NestJS). /liliHands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex, and AI Agent development. /liliSolid understanding of RAG, Graph RAG, embeddings, semantic search, vector databases, and knowledge management architectures. /liliExperience working with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and vector database technologies. /liliKnowledge of frontend technologies such as React or Vue.js, TypeScript, and modern web development practices. /liliExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform. /liliFamiliarity with REST APIs, GraphQL, authentication mechanisms, and scalable distributed architectures. /liliExperience monitoring AI applications, evaluating model performance, and optimizing latency, quality, and infrastructure costs. /liliStrong software engineering fundamentals, including clean, maintainable code, testing, documentation, and code reviews. /liliAbility to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams. /liliExcellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrong What We#39;re Looking For /strong /ppWe#39;re looking for someone who combines strong software engineering skills with deep expertise in modern AI technologies, enjoys working in a startup environment, takes ownership of technical challenges, and is excited to build innovative AI solutions with real business impact. /ppbr / /ppemThis job opportunity is open to candidates of all genders, ages, and nationalities, in compliance with applicable equal opportunity and anti-discrimination legislation. /em /p
