Overview
In this role you support site compliance with health, safety, environment and quality standards while aiding the Site Manager in planning site activities to meet technical specs and design/quality requirements. You collaborate with the Technical Office and report any critical issues or changes, and you help define alternative execution solutions during tender and after contract award. You assist in preparing method statements, quality checklists, trial fields, and end-of-works documentation, contributing to successful project delivery and regulatory compliance.
Responsabilità
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, environment, and quality regulations on site
- Support Site Manager in defining site activities and execution phases to meet specifications and design/quality standards
- Collaborate with Head Office Technical Office to report critical issues, anomalies, or changes on site
- Identify and define alternative technical solutions during tender/design phases with Technical Office and Site Manager (and Construction Manager after award)
- Collaborate with Technical Office to prepare Method Statements for site activities and technologies during construction design phase
- Manage and support trial fields and final acceptance tests with reporting on results
- Prepare and complete quality control checklists/forms
- Participate in technical briefings with General Contractor’s and Client’s designers to identify alternatives/optimizations
- Provide technical assistance during site activities
- Verify effectiveness of adopted design solutions and manage non-conformities requiring design changes
- Prepare end-of-works report and, where required, As Built drawings
Requisiti fondamentali
- In-depth knowledge of ground improvement/soil consolidation technologies and foundation works
- Proven ability to define alternative technical solutions for execution
- Ability to provide technical support to construction sites
- Knowledge of policies and procedures within the relevant professional area
- Knowledge of applications/software used in design, testing/acceptance, etc.
- Knowledge of the Quality Management System and main corporate procedures
- Knowledge of civil and geotechnical engineering
- Knowledge of main Italian and international standards applicable to construction (health & safety, environment, quality)
