The Opportunity
Privatal is currently mandated by an international private equity investor in their search for a new group CFO for their industrial service and manufacturing company. The company is in the middle of its investment period and is seeking an operationally experienced CFO to support the CEO and investor on the next phase of growth.
CFO Profile
- Proven experience as CFO within an Italian and/or international manufacturing, production, or industrial company.
- Previous experience operating in a private equity-backed, transformational,
or transformational environment.
- Strong understanding of production plants, industrial services, engineering, and the impact of disruption in value chains and what drives the supply chain.
- Demonstrated success in improving profitability, cash generation, and organisational performance.
- Experience working with shareholders, lenders, and boards in LBO strategies.
- Track record in M&A;, due diligence, post-merger integration, and business transformation.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to influence operational decision-making beyond finance.
- Hands-on leadership style with an entrepreneurial approach.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Business fluent in Italian and English is essential.
