Overview
In this role you will be a proactive Manufacturing Engineer Specialist within Technogym's Process Engineering team at HQ (Cesena, Italy). You will drive new product development by defining production equipment and advancing manufacturing process technology. You’ll work on lean, design-for-manufacturing initiatives and coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure safe, high-quality, cost-effective production. This is a hands-on, innovation-driven opportunity to shape scalable assembly processes and supplier networks within a global fitness-tech company.
Responsabilità
- Design and implement equipment for assembly processes
- Define specifications, validate concepts and project deliverables
- Coordinate internal and external resources across planning and execution
- Define and implement optimal manufacturing processes for safety, quality and cost
- Lead new product startups and ramp-ups
- Improve and define technical standards
- Develop and coordinate a reliable, fast supply network
- Bring innovation to manufacturing processes
Requisiti fondamentali
- Technical Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Automation Engineering (preferred)
- Knowledge of 3D CAD systems (Cre o) and Windchill
- 3–5 years in assembly, carpentry, and machining processes
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (Waste, Poka Yoke, FMEA, SMED, DMAIC)
- Willingness for business trips to subsidiaries and suppliers
- English proficiency (CEFR B2)
- Strong practical problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of ergonomics principles
- Microsoft Office (Excel)
