Overview
As a Global SQE, you will lead the qualification, development, and performance management of a global panel of EMS suppliers for PCBA and cable. You will collaborate with on-site supplier teams to drive quality, delivery, and cost improvements across regions.
Your role focuses on ensuring supplier compliance and enabling early involvement in product development to harness supplier innovations. The position offers hybrid/remote work and exposure to a rapidly growing Critical Power business in the data center domain. You will influence global teams and shape supplier quality strategy in a multinational environment.
Responsabilità
- Oversee supplier qualification processes and maintain ongoing compliance with standards
- Lead supplier development projects with on-site teams
- Utilize quality management tools to monitor quality, delivery, cost, and compliance metrics
- Ensure consistent process and product controls across ABB units and LSOs
- Address quality, delivery, or non-conformity issues promptly
- Promote early supplier involvement in product development to capture innovations and drive improvements
Requisiti fondamentali
- 10+ years in Quality Management within EMS industry
- Deep IPC Standard knowledge; IPC-A-610/IPC-A-620 training a plus
- Proven cross-functional and cross-site quality management experience with RCA, CAPA, and KPI-driven performance
- Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Strong communication and stakeholder management, with ability to align global teams
