Purpose of the position: As Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance Lead, you will respond to the COMMISSIONING and be part of the Energy Carriers business line. In this role you will manage a dedicated team.
How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:
- Ensure execution of commissioning activities. Lead and coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, test run, operation, training, and handover activities in line with contractual requirements, safety, quality, budget, and schedule.
- Prepare and manage commissioning plans and procedures. Develop, update, and control the commissioning execution plan, procedures, manuals, schedules, system breakdown, handover priorities, and related documentation.
- Review engineering and project documentation. Verify that commissioning, operability, maintainability, start-up, and operation requirements are properly incorporated into engineering deliverables such as P&IDs;, 3D model, manuals, test run procedures, and technical documents.
- Coordinate resources, vendors, subcontractors, and interfaces. Define personnel mobilization, temporary logistics, subcontractor scope of work, vendor/licensor involvement, spare parts, consumables, and interfaces with engineering, procurement, construction, HSE, and client teams.
- Ensure HSE, quality, progress control, and handover readiness. Support HSE planning, participate in risk reviews where required, monitor KPIs and progress, ensure commissioning readiness, and manage the orderly handover of systems to the Client/operator.
What are we looking for? For a Commissioning Lead, we are looking for a profile with the right balance of technical commissioning expertise, project execution capability, leadership, and HSE mindset.

In one sentence: we need someone who can translate engineering into safe and efficient plant start-up, lead people and interfaces, anticipate issues, and ensure systems are delivered ready for operation according to project objectives.
Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Preferably Chemical or Mechanical)
Experience: 15 years as a Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance Lead role within LGN PLANT industry
Languages: English (Advanced) French (nice to have)
Technical/IT Skills
Work in Task Force coordinating with the project team, the different companies of the JVs and the Client.
- Ensure the execution of the head office activities concerning Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Start Up, Test Run, Training, Maintenance Engineering, Operation and handing over of the Plant to the Client according to contractual requirements and project objectives in terms of safety, quality, budget and schedule.
- Ensure compliance of the Yard / Onshore Site activities for which is responsible with the established process and HSE requirements, while respecting the relative time and cost targets.
- Technical knowledge of LNG PLANT and Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Start Up and Operation activities.
- Knowledge of the CMS, Engineering Systems and Tools (HEXAGON, WINPCS, ICAPS, etc.).
- Knowledge of PC, Windows,
Office Software and IT implementation background.
- Capable to Read, interpret & prepare applicable technical information.
What else should you know? You will have the opportunity to travel abroad based on the projects you will work for and within the ROVUMA in HO, Yard & Onshore Site assigned. What Can We Offer To You
