You are a commercial leader within a blueship FMCG player, ideally from the food sector and even better, with experience in private labels.
You have a decent education (MBA or equivalent), perfect English and Italian, learned the key account and marketing métiers in professional companies and enjoyed doing business in different cultures such as the US, Middle East, Asia next to Italy and Europe. Probably you haven't covered them all but at least some of them.
On one side, you are a down-to-earth entrepreneur (he/she), who likes to roll up their sleeves and get things done and still gets a kick out of each order coming in. You like people, customers and teams, you foster human relations beyond purely convincing with facts, figures and reliability.
On the other side, you have a keen sense for KPIs and the “financial impacts” of activities, you know how to achieve set goals and what it needs for it. You are not an ivory-tower strategist, but you stand both feet firmly on the ground.
You are an authentic personality with strong leadership skills and someone who cares about their employees, challenges and supports them, always thinks positively, and brings plenty of energy and dedication to the party. Someone who steers the company commercial approach like an own business but is also fully aware that this is not the case. Therefore, you not only respect the young owners, but you value and seek open interactions with them.
You should be capable and willing to make this FMCG start-up grow rapidly within 5 years.
You get in the larger Milano area as support a big, well-equipped factory, well designed and unique products, based on innovative and sustainable materials, global sourcing capabilities for ingredients, and technologies allowing industrial flexibility to produce large to small batches for larger and smaller customers around the world and Italy.
