Overview
As a Technology Lawyer for AWS in the EMEA region, you will draft and negotiate strategic technology service agreements with enterprise and public sector clients, while providing regulatory guidance across multiple jurisdictions. You will support local and regional services, advise senior leaders on product development, security, compliance, and data protection, and lead legal initiatives in a dynamic sales environment. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate deals and improve legal operations through AI-powered tools.
This role offers a meaningful opportunity to shape AWS’s engagement with governments and large customers in Italy and Southern Europe.
Responsabilità
- Draft and negotiate enterprise and public sector technology service agreements with customers and partners
- Provide ongoing legal counsel on regulatory, data protection, security, and compliance matters for products and operations
- Support local and regional AWS services and initiatives across EMEA with cross-jurisdiction collaboration
- Lead lead-counsel on strategic sales transactions and partnership agreements
- Manage legal issues arising in existing relationships and respond to customer and business partner inquiries
- Drive AI-enabled transformation of legal operations to shorten review cycles and improve decision making
Requisiti fondamentali
- Qualified to practice law in Italy
- Minimum 2+ years post-qualification legal experience
- Experience communicating with stakeholders including leadership
- Fluent in Italian and English (C1 or above)
- Proactive
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of general AI tools
- Familiarity with cloud computing, IT infrastructure, and telecommunications policies and regulations
- Experience with IT transactions and services agreements
