The System Engineer will oversee the integration, testing, validation, and commissioning of systems, both at Mermec's facilities and at customer sites.
Responsibilities
As a Junior System Engineer, you'll be involved in
Reviewing technical project specifications
Assisting in the creation of technical project documentation
Product configuration
Conducting product testing at our premises
Assisting in commissioning and testing at customer sites
Providing customer training on system usage
Assisting in remote system monitoring
Contributing to statistical analysis of results
Offering technical support to the Product Leader for feasibility studies and product optimization
Technical Skills, Qualifications and Professional Experience
To excel in this role, you'll need:
A degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Automation
Ideally, up to 2 years of relevant experience (including internships and co-op placements)
strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage with customers from diverse backgrounds
Familiarity with RAMS, EN-50126, SIL, and EN-50128 is a plus
Exposure to international environments or projects is advantageous
Proficiency in English (equivalent to B2 level)
Solid understanding of computer systems in Windows environments and Office suite
Basic knowledge of analog/digital electronics, signal analysis, metrology, statistical data analysis, optics, networking, and artificial vision systems is desirable
Willingness to undertake occasional international travel
