Position Overview
We are looking for a Validation Engineer who is passionate about storage technologies and automotive applications. In this role, you will develop and complete validation strategies for Automotive SSD products, ensuring comprehensive verification of firmware, hardware, and system-level requirements.
You will work closely with firmware, hardware, systems architecture, product engineering, and quality teams to identify product risks early, improve validation effectiveness, and help deliver robust industry-leading storage solutions. You will also bring to bear a growing ecosystem of AI-enabled validation and development tools to accelerate test development, debug, and data analysis activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain validation methodologies, test suites, and automation frameworks to verify Automotive SSD functionality, performance, reliability, and compliance requirements.
- Build and complete known-box, grey-box, and system-level validation tests across the product development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with firmware, hardware, architecture, and product engineering teams to translate product requirements into scalable and effective validation coverage.
- Analyze test results, investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, and drive issue resolution with multi-functional teams.
- Develop automation tools and test infrastructure using Python and other scripting/programming languages to improve validation efficiency and product quality.
- Validate SSD behavior under automotive use cases and stress conditions, including performance, power management, error handling, endurance, and reliability scenarios.
