The Opportunity
We are working with an established
System Integrator
that is looking to add a Network Engineer to its growing technical team in Modena.
This is an excellent opportunity for a networking professional who enjoys working across different customer environments and technical projects. You will be exposed to a broad range of networking and security technologies, working directly on the design, deployment, support and troubleshooting of customer infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy and support network solutions across customer environments
Configure and maintain switches, routers, firewalls and wireless infrastructure
Troubleshoot network, connectivity and wider infrastructure issues
Support customer projects, installations and technical deployments
Manage incidents, changes and service requests through to resolution
Work closely with customers, internal technical teams and project stakeholders
Provide technical support and guidance across a range of networking environments
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule when required
Technical Requirements
We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in networking and infrastructure, ideally gained within a
System Integrator, Managed Service Provider or IT consultancy environment .
You should have experience with a selection of technologies such as: Cisco
Cisco Meraki
Aruba
Juniper
Fortinet
Palo Alto
Switching and routing
Firewalls and network security
Wireless networking
You will also need: Strong networking and infrastructure knowledge
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
Good communication and customer-facing skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a technical team
Confidence working independently and managing your own workload
A proactive approach to resolving technical issues

Working Pattern
The position is approximately
90% office-based from the Modena location , with occasional travel to customer sites across Northern Italy.
Remote working can be accommodated when required and subject to approval.
