Overview
In this Sales Engineer role at Proofpoint, you bridge technical expertise and business value for commercial accounts. You collaborate with account managers and channel partners to design and demonstrate People-Centric security solutions across Proofpoint’s portfolio. You’ll lead product demonstrations, assess threats, and contribute to proof-of-concept engagements to win customers. The position combines hands-on security knowledge with customer storytelling in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Responsabilità
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute targeted account penetration strategies
- Design and champion complex People-Centric Security solutions spanning the Proofpoint portfolio
- Assist in professional services deployments and technical training; present at industry events
- Provide customer insights to Product Management,



Marketing and Engineering teams
- Support and enable Distributors and Resellers with the Channel team
- Become an expert in Email Security, Advanced Persistent Threats, Attack Protection, Threat Response, DLP, and the threat landscape

Requisiti fondamentali
- Proven hands-on experience as Sales/Systems Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Security Engineer, or senior product support in cybersecurity
- Experience in secure messaging, data security, network security, endpoint, NOC/SOC, or MSP-related cybersecurity preferred
- Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills
- Fluent Italian and business-level English; additional languages a plus
- Exposure to two or more of: Exchange/O365/G-Suite/Lotus Domino; IT security areas (Vulnerability/Risk Management, Security Operations/Incident Response); DLP/compliance/data privacy; Cloud security/shadow IT monitoring; Cloud infra (AWS/Azure)
