Overview
As a Procurement Specialist at ABB, you will source materials per technical specs, price, delivery, and terms, while aligning purchases with corporate policies. You’ll support supplier identification with the category team and manage PO processes, supplier performance, and frame agreements. You’ll evaluate bids to optimize value and explore new suppliers to strengthen the supply base. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, onsite model to support ABB’s mission of reliable, sustainable power solutions.

Responsabilità
- Initiate purchase orders in the system and confirm supplier delivery per requisitions
- Negotiate agreements with main suppliers and renew price lists and terms




- Manage assigned suppliers to meet KPIs and drive performance
- Propose frame agreements and obtain leadership approval
- Verify external capacity of suppliers and target new market options
- Analyze bids to determine optimal value and supplier selection

Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor in Engineering (or Economy)
- English and Italian communication skills
- Knowledge of SAP (plus)
- MS Office proficiency (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of digital tools (Power BI) (plus)
- Strong interpersonal and multitasking abilities
- Experience in operations (preferred)
- Negotiation skills (preferred)
