The Road Intern will learn how to plan, coordinate and manage international road freight shipments, ensuring that customer requirements are met while maintaining operational efficiency, service quality, and compliance with applicable regulations and company procedures.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Road intern will learn how to:
- manage import/export road shipments;
- plan, book and track FTL (full truckloads) and LTL (groupage) shipments in coordination with colleagues, customers, carriers,
foreign correspondents and logistics partners;
- issue and checking transport documentation (e.g. CMR, delivery notes, waybills);
- to monitor deliveries and handle any anomalies or complaints;
- provide support for customs activities and collaboration with the administrative team.
Qualifications:
- Skills & Competencies: Planning and organizational skills; customer focus; problem-solving; effective communication; attention to detail and accuracy; teamwork and collaboration.
- Education: High School Diploma or Degree;
- Languages: Good knowledge of English.
