Purpose of the position: As Rotating Equipment Engineer you will respond to the Head of Mechanical Equipment Engineering department and be part of the Energy Carriers Business line. How can you support us?
- Execute the project activities following Project requirements within the assigned budget, time schedule and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with all Project interfaces and supervise in/out information flow.
- Prepare Mechanical Data Sheet, Inspection Data Sheet, Material Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation
- Manage interfaces with Vendors, being the focal point for assigned supplies
- Execute Vendors’ Documents follow-up
- Participate in factory acceptance tests and site inspections of rotating equipment
- Provide input and recommendations for equipment installation, commissioning, and start-up activities
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and project teams disciplines (process, civil, piping, instrumentation & controls, electrical, metallurgy, projects management,
procurement, inspection, logistics, commissioning and construction) to ensure the successful integration of rotating equipment into overall project designs
What are we looking for? Education: Master’s Degree/bachelor’s degree in: Mechanical Engineering or related field Background: at least 2 years in the same or similar positions with International Main Contracting & Engineering Companies or Rotating Equipment Original Equipment Manufacturer Languages: English (B2/C1) Technical/IT Knowledge: Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering and design of rotating equipment in the oil and gas and energy industry Mobility
- Availability to travel for short periods (1 week to 1 Month)
- Availability to be relocated abroad in both International Saipem Engineering Centers and or in Construction Site for a minimum of a year
