We are looking for talented Electronic Hardware Development Engineers (up to two) to join our engineering team and contribute to the design, development, validation and troubleshooting of advanced Electronic Control Units (ECUs) for next-generation brake-by-wire systems. Depending on your experience and qualifications, you will join our organization either as an Electronic Hardware Development & Testing Engineer or as an Electronic Hardware Development Expert, working on the full lifecycle of automotive electronic products, from requirements analysis and hardware design through testing, validation, and issue resolution.

The ideal candidate combines strong electronic design skills with a practical engineering mindset and a passion for developing robust and reliable automotive products.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and understand customer, system,



and hardware requirements for automotive electronic products.
- Design and develop Electronic Control Units (ECUs) for advanced braking and chassis control systems.
- Create and maintain hardware schematics and supporting engineering documentation.
- Support PCB layout activities through design reviews and close collaboration with layout engineers.
- Select and evaluate electronic components according to functional, safety, reliability, EMC, and environmental requirements.
- Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation activities.
- Execute electrical, functional, environmental, and EMC testing activities.
- Conduct root cause analysis of hardware, system, manufacturing, and vehicle-related issues.
- Operate laboratory instrumentation including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, electronic loads, CAN analyzers, and measurement equipment.
- Support or lead Design Verification (DV) and Product Validation (PV) activities.
- Collaborate with system, software, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and test engineering teams.
- Interface with suppliers during design reviews, component selection, issue resolution, and technical assessments.
- Contribute to Functional Safety work products in accordance with ISO 26262.
- Support continuous improvement of hardware design methodologies, validation processes, and engineering best practices.
- Participate in vehicle testing and customer activities with occasional business trips.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering, or related disciplines.




- Experience in EE hardware development, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Good understanding of analog and digital electronic circuit design.
- Experience in developing or reviewing electronic schematics and layouts.
- Hands-on laboratory experience and familiarity with electronic debugging techniques.
- Experience using common electronic test equipment and measurement instruments.
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, UDS, and XCP.
- Familiarity with EMC principles and automotive validation activities.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Fluent English.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

- Experience with automotive ECU development.
- Experience with Design Verification (DV), Product Validation (PV), and EMC testing.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 Functional Safety processes.
- Experience with PCB layout reviews and design-for-EMC practices.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic architectures.
- Experience with embedded systems and microcontroller-based designs.
- Knowledge of electric motors, actuators, sensors, and power electronics.
- Familiarity with brake-by-wire, ABS, ESC, electro-hydraulic braking, or other safety-critical automotive systems.
- Knowledge of Altium Designer, LTSpice and similar engineering tools.

Experience Level

We are hiring for multiple positions within the Electronics Hardware team. Candidates will be considered for either:

Electronic Hardware Development & Testing Engineer

- Typically 1-7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong focus on hardware design, laboratory activities, testing, debugging, and issue analysis.

Electronic Hardware Development Expert

- Typically 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven expertise in automotive ECU design, validation, EMC-compliant design, component selection, and complex technical problem solving across the complete product development lifecycle.
