A Snapshot of Your Day
Join Siemens Energy and take ownership of service activities for rotating equipment, including gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators across customer power plants. You will coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance activities under long-term service agreements while serving as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with engineering, field service, EHS, finance, and commercial teams, you will lead outage preparations, manage contract execution, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
You will also identify opportunities for upgrades, modernization initiatives, efficiency improvements, and decarbonization solutions that help customers adapt to the evolving energy market. Through your work, you will contribute directly to fleet reliability, operational excellence, and long-term customer satisfaction.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will manage maintenance activities for gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators, ensuring high fleet availability, reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- You will prepare, coordinate, and lead planned outages while managing project scope, schedule, budget, risks, resources, and quality requirements.
- You will actively oversee project financial performance in close collaboration with the Commercial Project Manager, driving proactive change management and identifying opportunities to improve project margins.
- You will build trusted customer relationships by leading meetings, coordinating stakeholders, resolving operational challenges, and ensuring contractual commitments are fulfilled.
- You will support business growth by developing proposals for upgrades, modernization projects, decarbonization initiatives, and maintenance contract modifications.
What You Bring
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in engineering and/or project management; experience with gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators is a strong advantage.
- PMP certification and proven experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, and stakeholders in a customer-facing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian, with the ability to collaborate effectively across international and cross-functional teams; German language skills are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of project financial management, risk and opportunity management, planning and scheduling, quality assurance, and compliance processes.
- Proficiency with SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office tools, combined with a proactive, customer-focused, and solution-oriented working style.

Compensation The total compensation package for this position, including both fixed and variable components, ranges between € 50.000 – € 68.000 gross per year. Salary ranges for this role are provided in accordance with applicable local legislation. The stated range is based on the Italian labour market.
Where a role may be performed in multiple locations in Italy or abroad, compensation will vary depending on factors such as market conditions, including the local cost of living, as well as experience and qualifications.
