The Role For an international SaaS company serving the manufacturing sector, providing an integrated digital platform that connects design, planning, production, and financial operations, we're hiring a Senior Finance Consultant to lead the finance workstream on ERP implementations across EMEA. The person we're looking for will manage end-to-end projects, from discovery through hypercare, across 2–3 concurrent customer projects. You'll be the senior finance authority customers turn to on the finance module (general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, cost accounting, banking integration, tax) and the in-house go-to person for product questions.
Permanent position, remote-first based in Italy, with occasional travel for project needs. Strong transferrable accounting skills and a problem-solving mindset, not memorized regulatory rulebooks. We're looking for solid accounting logic, adaptability, customer-facing maturity, and curiosity that lets you absorb a new product or regulatory context quickly.
We provide AI research tools and a growing knowledge base — not a 200-page checklist of every regulation. ERP finance consultant with 5+ years implementing finance modules at an ERP vendor or partner (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Infor, Epicor or comparable), with hands-on experience across discovery, configuration, migration and go-live Alternatively, strong finance profiles (accountants, tax consultants) with real IT affinity and ERP implementation exposure What you'll own Finance-track delivery: discovery, target design, configuration, country-specific tax/statutory scoping, banking integration setup, clean handover to the customer's finance team The workaround-vs-implementation call: weighing cost, risk and value,
knowing when gaps should be scoped and sold as additional work Key-user training and hypercare: training customers to run the system independently, supporting the first month-end close Practice contribution: improving the knowledge base, supporting pre-sales, feeding customer-side signals to engineering Degree in business/accounting or equivalent professional qualification (commercialista, Bilanzbuchhalter/Steuerfachwirt, CIMA, ACCA, CPA or similar) Strong accounting foundations: GL/double-entry logic, VAT logic, banking integration, fixed-asset accounting (depreciation and migration), openness to grow into cost accounting At least one full-cycle ERP implementation with ownership of a substantial workstream Customer-facing consulting maturity: empathetic, calm, commercially aware, able to listen before designing Tolerance for ambiguity: comfortable being the most knowledgeable person in the room, handling it through research, testing and AI tools rather than freezing Fluent English for finance topics; Fluent German (active DACH customer base) Fluent Italian (active Italian customers) Multi-country ERP implementation experience Manufacturing/industrial context (textile-specific experience not required) Pre-sales/scoping experience 903/77) to send their CV via email, specifying their consent to the processing of personal data (EU Regulation 2016/679) and referencing the job posting.
