Role: Child Protection Specialist (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an Adolescent/Child Safeguarding & Exploitation Specialist to work on a Full-time basis. You will assess risks related to child exploitation and abuse, develop safeguarding protocols, and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement protective measures for vulnerable populations.
Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats to adolescent and child safety within operational contexts.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on recognizing signs of exploitation, abuse, and grooming behaviors.
- Investigate reported incidents of child exploitation or abuse, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including law enforcement and child protection agencies, to address systemic risks.
Experience in child protection, safeguarding,
or related fields with a minimum of 3 years in a specialist role.
- Knowledge of international child protection frameworks, such as UNCRC, and local safeguarding legislation.
- Ability to conduct investigations into exploitation cases while maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity.
- Proficiency in developing training materials and delivering sessions on safeguarding protocols to diverse audiences.
