This position reports to: Sales ManagerThe Data Center Tender/Quotation Specialist for ABB (Electrification, Distribution Solutions Services) will provide national support to the Data Center Key Account Managers in the development of field services proposals for mission-critical data center infrastructure, including power delivery, power utilization and automation systems. In this role you will identify and propose value-added service solutions to data center operators and colocation providers including Start-Up & Commissioning Services, Preventive Maintenance for critical power systems, Power Distribution upgrades to support capacity expansion, Arc Flash Mitigation Solutions, and 24/7 Emergency Service Agreements tailored to uptime requirements. In this fast paced, end-customer-facing role,
you will require a strong field service background in critical power systems and data center environments, and highly effective communication and organizational skills. The work model for this role is: Remote {#LI-Remote}This role is contributing to the Electrification Services Division in the United States.
You will be mainly accountable for: Formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations by considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial aspects for each situation.
Ensuring tenders are well-documented in a timely manner and with an appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs.
Leading and managing the planning and preparation of technical, financial, and, if required, project management aspects of the bid, estimate, and quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.
