Overview
In this role you drive distributor performance across a defined North East Italian territory, partnering with the local sales team to grow distribution profitability and brand adherence. You will craft and execute a targeted sales plan, expand Axalta’s distribution footprint, and coordinate with sales, market and account colleagues to meet territory goals. You’ll engage with distributors, forecast demand, and communicate Axalta’s value proposition to win new business. The role offers exposure to strategic growth in a global coatings leader and requires cross-functional collaboration and travel.
Responsabilità
- Serve as primary contact for local distributors within the territory
- Develop and execute a balanced sales plan that targets profitability and distribution growth for Axalta Refinish products and services
- Collaborate with Sales, Account and Market Specialists to implement the sales plan
- Identify opportunities to expand distribution footprint, including new distribution points and stock point additions
- End-to-end distributor management through cross-functional collaboration (sales, technical, supply chain, product group, customer service)
- Analyze market trends and business environment to prioritize and retain customers while acquiring new ones
- Articulate the attributes and advantages of Axalta products through tailored proposals
- Pioneer innovative opportunities and address challenges to support market success
- Conduct regular follow-up with distributors to achieve results
- Balance strong distributor relationships with Axalta’s interests and goals
- Ensure proper usage of Axalta’s CRM software
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor's Degree and/or 7+ years of Automotive Refinish industry experience
- 5+ years in aftersales automotive market (e.g., tire or oil)
- 5+ years of selling and retention experience with track record of meeting/exceeding goals
- Experience selling to or managing relationships with top-tier customers/distributors pref
