Role : Mental Health Specialist (Remote)

Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an Adolescent Suicide & Self-Harm Specialist to work on a Full-time basis. The role involves providing specialized support to adolescents experiencing suicidal ideation or self-harm behaviors, including crisis intervention and long-term care coordination. The position requires expertise in adolescent mental health and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct risk assessments for adolescents presenting with suicidal ideation or self-harm behaviors.
• Develop and implement individualized safety plans in collaboration with healthcare providers and family members.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to adolescents in distress.
• Coordinate care with schools, community organizations, and mental health professionals.
• Document all interactions and maintain compliance with privacy and ethical guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work,
or related field required.
• Licensed or license-eligible in clinical mental health counseling or social work.
• Experience working with adolescents in crisis or behavioral health settings.
• Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for self-harm and suicide prevention.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with adolescents and families.
