Overview
In this role you will enable reliable trade finance delivery for clients, focusing on letters of credit and bank guarantees within Wholesale Banking Operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate processing, compliance, and timely settlements, while serving as a backup for core WB Ops activities. The position supports efficiency improvements and controls in trade finance workflows. This is an international, hybrid Milan role with opportunities to grow in a digital, customer-centric bank.

Responsabilità
- Receipt, advising and amendment of export documentary credits and input in the system
- Handling bank credit lines for confirmed letters of credit
- End-to-end processing including document checks, discrepancy resolution, and compliance checks
- Issuing and amendment of import letters of credit and input in the system
- Issuing and amendments/renewals of domestic and cross-border guarantees (drafting, credit line verification, client contact, commissions)
- Verification of credit line availability
- Collecting import/export bills
- Screening and checks for compliance purposes and related reports
- Booking into IFS/IRM
- Reconciliation support
- Support in transparency documents (DDS) generations, TFS related
- Back up for WB Ops activities (approvals in IFS booking system)
Requisiti fondamentali
- Experience of at least 10 years in the role
- Ability to manage critical situations through good decision-making skills
- Master’s degree in economics
- Advanced knowledge of the English language
- Knowledge of UCP.600; ISBP Publication No. 745
- Knowledge of SWIFT Platform and related message types
- Advanced level in Excel, Outlook
- Decision-making under pressure
