Role Description
This full-time permanent/contractor role for EASA Certifying Staff B1.1 on A320 and ATR 72 is based in Ancona International Airport. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing and certifying line and base maintenance on A320 and ATR 72 fleets, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with EASA regulations and company procedures. The role involves conducting inspections, recording maintenance activities in relevant systems, and collaborating with engineering, planning, and operations personnel to optimize aircraft availability and safety. The position also includes participation in continuous improvement initiatives, adherence to safety and quality standards,
and support for airworthiness management activities when required.
Qualifications
- Valid EASA Part-66 B1.1 license with type ratings on A320 and ATR 72 or the ability to obtain these type ratings in a short timeframe.
- Proven experience in line and/or base maintenance on commercial aircraft, preferably within a Part-145 approved organization.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, maintenance manuals, and engineering instructions, with solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills, including the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams, shift patterns, and under time-critical operational constraints.
- Comfort with digital tools and maintenance IT systems for recording tasks, reporting findings, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Good command of English for technical communication; knowledge of Italian is beneficial b
