Newport & Co is hiring an M&A; Intern in Verona: six months, full-time, paid, working directly with our Chief Investment Officer on acquiring corporate carve-outs across Europe.

What you will do
- Source and screen carve-out and divestiture opportunities across Europe
- Build and stress-test financial models and valuations, including working capital, cash conversion and stand‑alone cost structures
- Support financial, commercial, operational and separation due diligence, including detailed financial analysis and reclassification
- Prepare investment analyses and Investment Committee materials
- Support execution from sourcing to signing, including carve‑out perimeter, TSAs, transaction documents, and Day‑1 readiness
- Run sector research and maintain our proprietary deal pipeline and CRM
What we are looking for
- A Master's degree in progress or recently completed in Finance, Economics, Business, Management, Engineering or a related quantitative field, with strong academic results
- Previous internship experience in Investment Banking, MA
