In this role you partner with key global customers to transform Infineon’s automotive microcontroller solutions into leading-edge designs. You work across the development lifecycle, solving technical challenges and guiding Proof-of-Concepts, while building lasting partnerships. You collaborate with internal experts to connect customer questions with the right teams and train field engineers and customers in your area of expertise. - Support customers at early phases, milestone moments, and escalations to meet development goals
- Hands‑on debugging with customers remotely and on‑site to resolve issues and validate concepts
- Demonstrate technical superiority of Infineon’s automotive microcontrollers in real use cases
- Leverage embedded systems expertise to articulate solution benefits to customers
- Build and maintain quick access to internal experts (Application Engineering, R&D;, product, systems)
- Clarify ambiguous technical situations by structuring findings and driving next steps with stakeholders
- Share knowledge within the distributed Application Engineering team and foster a collaborative culture
- Train and enable Field Application Engineers and customers in your technical domain
- 3+ years of experience in automotive Tier 1 or OEM environments
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Software Engineering, or similar
- Strong hands‑on embedded software development in C (application and low‑level)
- Experience with Infineon AURIX microcontrollers or RISC‑V is a strong plus
- Willingness to travel internationally on short notice (5–10 trips/year)
- Fluency in English
