POSITION SUMMARY:
This role will provide direct Safety support and leadership to all functional teams at the Verona, MO location. This person should thrive in a changing and dynamic environment and possess the ability to direct,
plan, establish, and implement a variety of programs to assure the highest possible degree of safety for employees, plant facilities, and equipment.
As the Safety Manager, they must ensure safe work conditions and practices exist that meet all applicable Safety regulations and company policies. This position will coach site management and personnel on the recognition, elimination and control of occupational hazards and risks.
The position requires an experienced professional with excellent communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills. Prior Process Safety Management (PSM) experience is required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of site EH&S; programs and policies, mitigate workplace risks, as well as monitor processes and recordkeeping systems to ensure regulatory compliance.
