Group Data Artificial Intelligence and Automation Solutions
function is in charge of driving the execution of key Artificial Intelligence projects at Group level, related both to AI-driven automation and AI recommendations/predictions to support the Generali growth. The function is also responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving a library of central shared analytics / automation services, leveraging cutting-edge technologies, algorithms, and methodologies, available for the BUs through a central platform.

Your mission as an
AI Developer and Engineer - Team Lead
is to build reliable, optimized, and maintainable AI systems, including traditional machine learning models, deep learning architectures, computer vision, NLP, and large language models (LLMs).
Your main tasks:
- Lead the design and development of end-to-end projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project timelines and ensure appropriate staffing to meet business requirements.
- Lead project implementation from proof of concept (PoC) through full development life cycle.
- Establish and enforce best practices (code standards, MLOps, dataset versioning, etc.) to guarantee scalable, secure, and high-quality AI solutions across all deployments, acting as a reference point at unit level.
- Manage and mentor a team of AI developers, fostering skill development, performance excellence, and a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- Solid background in AI / ML engineering and Process automation algorithms.
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
- 5+ years of experience.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying AI solutions (ML, Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, LLMs).
