The role is part of the Flight Management organizational unit of Avionic Systems Development area. The unit is responsible for the design, development and qualification/certification activities related to the main on-board computer of Leonardo Helicopters programs (both civil and military), specifically of the software application responsible for the Flight Planning and Sensor Management functions that will be hosted on the target computer.
Sub-System Engineers interface with the Avionic System Engineering functional area for all the aspects pertaining to the integration of the computer and its application in the helicopter avionic system. Other external area
