Purpose of the position:
As Rotating Equipment Lead Engineer, you will be part of the ENCAR Business line.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate all engineering activities related to rotating equipment within the assigned project, ensuring full compliance with technical requirements, project management guidelines, budget constraints, schedule targets, and quality standards. Act as the discipline focal point within the project task force.
- Execute the project activities following Project requirements within the assigned budget, time schedule and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with all Project interfaces and supervise in/out information flow.
- Prepare Mechanical Data Sheet, Inspection Data Sheet, Material Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation.
- Manage interfaces with Vendors, being the focal point for assigned supplies.
- Execute Vendors’ Documents follow-up.
- Participate in factory acceptance tests and site inspections of rotating equipment.
- Provide input and recommendations for equipment installation, commissioning, and start-up activities.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and project teams disciplines (process, civil, piping, instrumentation & controls, electrical, metallurgy, projects management, procurement, inspection, logistics, commissioning and construction) to ensure the successful integration of rotating equipment into overall project design.
