Job purpose
The Key Account Manager serves as the strategic leader responsible for the management, retention, and expansion of the assigned client portfolio. The role ensures full alignment between commercial objectives, operational capabilities, and overall company strategy, driving sustainable growth and long-term partnerships within the market.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management & Business Development
- Lead and execute Business Development initiatives with a growth-oriented and forward-thinking approach.
- Identify new market opportunities and strengthen long-term partnerships with key accounts.
- Ensure alignment between client expectations and corporate objectives.
Client Relationship Management
- Oversee customer relationships and communications in close cooperation with the US Sales Area Manager.
- Provide technical and operational guidance to support contract execution and business expansion.
- Structure and clarify customer requirements and timelines, anticipating risks and potential obstacles.
- Monitor portfolio performance to ensure compliance with plans, processes, and financial targets.
- Identify cost optimization and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Address potential cost increases in collaboration with Operations, Industrialization, and Procurement.
