Biomedical Service Engineer – Naples, Italy (Job Ref: 26I/CSEN)

We have an exciting new career opportunity for a Biomedical Service Engineer based in Naples, Italy.
Location: Remote , homebased in Naples. However, extensive travel will be required across Italy and some other European countries.
Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours / Shifts : 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday from 08.40 to 17.20. However, flexibility will be required.
What does this role involve?
- Routine servicing and preventative maintenance of analysers and associated equipment in
- the field.
- Establishment of routine maintenance schedules.
- Development of procedures and support associated with new products.
- Emergency breakdown repair of Randox analysers in the field.
- Installation, commissioning and set-up of analyser equipment
- Providing direct support to the end user by telephone and email.
- The training of Randox staff and end-user personnel in analyser servicing procedures.
- Regular travel to visit customer sites for servicing and maintenance of Randox equipment
Who can apply?
Essential criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent accredited apprenticeships.
- Possess excellent communication and organisational skills, both written and oral.
- High level of motivation to work independently and use your own initiative.
- Ability to work effectively with others to establish and maintain good working relationships with internal departments and customers.
- Fluent in both Italian and English.
- Be available for extensive travel throughout Italy and some other European countries.
- Full EU driving license.
- Currently have the right to work in Italy, without visa sponsorship.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Experience in computer hardware or engineering.
- Experience in servicing medical devices
- Experience with clinical chemistry analysers and applications knowledge.
- Previous sales or customer service experience
