About the Role:
We are currently looking for a General Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement Department in Alba for a parental leave substitution (temporary contract).
In this role, you will support procurement activities across a range of indirect spending categories, working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to help meet business needs efficiently and in compliance with Ferrero's procurement standards. You will contribute to the day-to-day execution of sourcing, supplier and contract management activities, supporting the achievement of procurement objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
Supporting the implementation of category strategies across indirect spend categories, you will contribute to identifying effective sourcing solutions that meet business requirements and align with procurement priorities.
Working closely with key business functions, you will manage sourcing activities end-to-end, including market analysis, supplier selection, tender processes, negotiations and contract finalization, contributing to the achievement of cost and performance targets.
You will monitor sourcing initiatives and procurement efficiencies, tracking results and supporting continuous improvement across procurement processes.
A key aspect of the role will be building and maintaining collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, helping ensure service quality, reliability and sustainable value generation while monitoring supplier performance and potential risks.
You will support contract management and negotiation activities, contributing to the definition of contract terms, the preparation of business cases and negotiation scenarios, and the management of contract lifecycles in partnership with business stakeholders and Legal teams.
Finally, you will ensure procurement activities are carried out in compliance with Ferrero policies, procedures and contractual standards, while supporting the monitoring of contractual KPIs and service level agreements.
About You:
You hold a master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Management or a related field and have gained previous experience in procurement, ideally supporting indirect spending categories.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with procurement tools, using them confidently to support procurement activities, analyses and stakeholder interactions.
You are proactive, dynamic and collaborative, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. You are fluent in both Italian and English and enjoy working with diverse teams in an international business environment.
