Clearance Purser:
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Clearance Purser, you will be at the heart of our onboard operations, ensuring guests, crew and documentation are always ready for the next destination. Through accuracy, coordination and problem-solving, you will help every voyage run smoothly from port to port.
Documentation & Compliance
Verify guest and crew travel documents, ensuring compliance with international requirements and company procedures.
Manage and maintain accurate identification records throughout the voyage.
Support the verification of documentation for external technicians and visitors embarking on board.
Port Operations & International Coordination
Act as a key point of contact with Port Agents and local Authorities to support smooth port operations.
Coordinate documentation requests and administrative activities during port calls.
Ensure timely updates on guest and crew status to support operational readiness.
Administrative Excellence
Prepare and manage official guest, customs and cargo documentation.
Support the production and distribution of essential crew and company documents.
Ensure accuracy, confidentiality and efficiency across all administrative processes.
WHO YOU ARE
Required:
Secondary school degree
- Accounting and MS Office (Excel)
- Previous experience in a similar position of at least one year, especially managing port operations in foreign countries.
- English knowledge at least at B2 level
- Italian Knowledge at A2 level and a second language between Italian, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese or Chinese (Mandarin) at B1 level
- Problem-solving attitude
- Curious, positive and collaborative, comfortable working across departments with a proactive attitude
Nice to have:
- Previous experience on board or in international, multicultural environments
